Wound Care
The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at Physicians Regional Healthcare System offers a program of clinical approaches, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, to treat patients with chronic, non-healing wounds. Patients are treated by a multi-disciplinary team of specialists, including physicians with training in wound management, as well as nurses skilled in chronic wound care.
More than five million people in the United States alone suffer from chronic wounds, and patients with diabetes or vascular disease are especially prone to developing such conditions. The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine is equipped to treat the wide array of wound conditions.
