Local Residents can get help with Health Insurance Marketplace

Physicians Regional Healthcare System partnering with Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida

November 3, 2017 Naples, FL - If you’re interested in signing-up for health coverage on the Health Insurance Marketplace—but you find the information overwhelming or confusing you can find help at Physicians Regional Healthcare System.

Both hospitals will have Certified Assisters from the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida on-site at Physicians Regional – Collier Blvd. every Thursday, beginning November 9th, and at Physicians Regional – Pine Ridge every Friday, beginning November 10th, through December 15th. Hours will be from 9am – 4pm. Residents can schedule appointments by calling (866) 547-2793. Certified assisters will help with plan comparisons, determining any tax credits or discounts, and filling-out applications.

Open Enrollment runs November 1 – December 15, 2017. This marks the federal government’s fifth annual campaign to extend healthcare coverage to more Americans, specifically to those who otherwise wouldn’t have access to services or who would face a financial crisis due to medical bills.
