Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
Physicians Regional Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility is now open to provide rehabilitative service to people recovering from disabilities caused by illness or injuries. The facility will be located at our North campus and has 30 private rooms. We help our patients regain physical and cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of health and independence.
Common medical conditions and injuries treated at the inpatient rehabilitation facility:
Our dedicated healthcare team provides our patients with 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care and daily physician management. Our patients have access to 30 private patient rooms and the facility’s well-equipped rehab areas. Our therapy areas include a 1,585 square foot gym equipped with an interactive touch screen therapy device that works to improve hand-eye coordination, reaction time, depth perception and working memory for patients with a variety of neurological conditions. The therapy system offers diverse training programs that improve visual motor activities, visual and auditory processing, cognitive skills and endurance training. The gym will also be equipped with a 20 foot ceiling track system which helps patients walk, balance, practice sit-to-stand exercises and improve posture.
The rehabilitation center also offers treatment in our multiple day rooms, which include a daily living suite. These areas allow patients to practice normal, daily, at-home activities while still under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Some of these activities may include getting in and out of bed, showering, cooking or doing laundry. In addition, we offer home evaluations to identify any necessary modifications that may need to be made to a patient’s home before leaving the hospital. This helps ensure a safer return to home for continued recovery.
